Motorcycle Tour Selce to Dubrovnik

Croatian Adriatic Coast Tour will guide us through east side of Adriatic, from Kvarner bay to the south of Dalmatia and backwards. We travel on the Adriatic main road towards south, on the road that is considered one of the most beautiful moto routes of Europe. Curvy roads, cliffy coast, the blueness of the sea and the islands derive from it will follow us almost the entire route.

Our adventure we begin in Selce, on the east coast of Kvarner. After leaving Selce behind we come in Dalmatia, famous for Mediterranean landscapes and beautiful historical cities. Our route goes further to the towns of Split, Korcula, Hvar and Dubrovnik.

Opis ture:

1.day: Arrival to Selce // After arrival and a welcome drink there is a short introduction and informing about a tour plan. Afterwards a dinner in a local fish restaurant.

2. day: Selce-Split tour // After breakfast we begin our tour towards Dalmatia. Our first stop on the Adriatic coastal road is Karlobag, where we stop shortly and order our first cappuccino. We continue to Obrovac and through the outback of Zadar and Sibenik we continue to drive to Split. From Sibenik we drive again with a sea view all the way to Trogir where we enjoy the view on the medieval architecture. Trogir is a beautiful city and will astonish you in every way. From there we shortly drive to Split where we spent the night and after arrival and break after a long driving day, we are off to explore Split and everything it has to offer

3. day:   Split – Island of Brac – Korcula Tour // After early breakfast we catch a ferry that will take us to the island of Brac. This is our first stop. Brac is famous for its stone and many sculptures have been made out of it including one whole wing of White house in Washington. Zlatni Rat is a well-known beach on Brac particularly loved among surfers and kitesurfers. A lot of Brac’s surface has been covered in olive groves so be sure that you will enjoy in beautiful nature throughout the trip.

After we leave Brac and touch the coast in Makarska, we are still heading south, to the peninsula Peljesac (famous for its good red wine) and the island of Korcula where we spent the night, just near the same named town of Korcula, a birthplace of Marco Polo.

4. Day: Korcula – Dubrovnik tour // After short sightseeing of Korcula, we continue our trip to Dubrovnik through the peninsula Peljesac where we pass by the vineyards of Potomje and Dingac. We stop at a small place called Ston, surrounded by a long stone wall of 5.2 km. If you like oysters then you’re in the right place, because Ston is famous breeding site for these tasty little shells.

We arrive at Dubrovnik in the afternoon and after having dinner in a hotel we go sightseeing.

5. day: Dubrovnik – Mostar – Split tour // Since we are in the neighbourhood it would be a shame not to miss this part of the region. From Dubrovnik we move north, or to be more exactly to the south of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its mountainous landscapes.

Over Trebinje we go to Mostar, a famous city from16th century. Its famous bridge, even though its not the old one that has been devastated in the war and rebuilded in the 1990., is a great place to see ‘’north meets west’’. After Mostar we are heading back to Split.

6.day: Split – island of Hvar – Sibenik tour // As we move from Split by ferry boat to the island of Hvar, we have breakfast a little bit earlier. At 8.30 we depart from Split harbour and we leave the beautiful Split horizon. After 2-hour drive by ferry we come in Starigrad on the island Hvar and we drive further to city of Hvar. After sightseeing of the city and lunch in one of family bistros, we drive to south and back to the coast. From Drvenik we pass by Trilj and Sinj and finally end up in Sibenik.

6.dan: Donnerstag: Split – Insel Hvar – Sibenik Tour //Day: Sibenik – Zadar – Island Pag – Selce tour//From Sibenik we are heading to Zadar, an urban centre of North Dalmatia, a city rich in historical monuments and cultural heritage. A sightseeing of the city, a visit to famous Sea organ. Afterwards we travel to the island of Pag from where we have a magnificent view on grand Velebit and head back to Selce.

7.day: Freitag: Sibenik  – Zadar – Selce Tour //From Sibenik we are heading to Zadar, an urban centre of North Dalmatia, a city rich in historical monuments and cultural heritage. A sightseeing of the city, a visit to famous Sea organ. Afterwards we travel to the island of Pag from where we have a magnificent view on grand Velebit and head back to Selce.

8.day: After breakfast, departure.
